The Local Government Unit of Basey, Samar paid a courtesy visit to LGU Alangalang, earlier, to benchmark the newly opened Community College of Alangalang (CCA)

During the visit, members of the CCA Technical Working Group headed by Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro were present to personally share the journey behind the establishment of CCA from its initial vision and planning, legislative and administrative processes, coordination with concerned agencies, up to securing the necessary requirements for its operation.

The discussion provided the Basey delegation with a firsthand account of the challenges, key milestones, and collaborative efforts that paved the way for CCA’s realization as a local institution providing quality, affordable, and accessible higher education to the people of Alangalang.
