The Local Government Unit of Alangalang joined the nation in celebrating the 48th National Disability Rights Week with the theme, “Rights First, Legislation Forward – Strategic Action for Equal Participation and Inclusive Development,” during a meaningful gathering held yesterday at the Municipal Covered Court.

The program was attended by SB Committee Chair on Persons with Disability Hon. Blesilda M. Yu, MHO Dr. Blesilda Aniceto, MDRRMO Cliff Errol Ripalda, MAO Cesar Anade, MENRO Eugene Bondos, HRMO Cipriano Rex Caraballa III, and MSWDO Marilyn Superada, RSW, who each delivered messages of encouragement and reaffirmed the local government’s commitment to promoting the rights and welfare of persons with disabilities. Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro inspired participants with a message of hope and inclusion, emphasizing the importance of empowering every member of the community.
