HAPPENING NOW: The Local Government Unit of Alangalang is currently participating in the 3-day Technical Planning Assistance Program (TPAP) Enhanced Training Package on CLUP Updating/Formulation – Phase 2A: Ecosystem Analysis Training/Workshop conducted by the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) at Tropics Hotel & Resort, Palo, Leyte. This training aims to strengthen the LGU’s technical capacity in understanding and analyzing the municipality’s ecosystem as a vital step in updating its Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP). Through intensive hands-on workshops and guided discussions, participants are gaining valuable insights into environmental profiling, spatial analysis, and sustainable land-use strategies that will guide future development planning. Among the participants are MDRRMO Cliff Errol Ripalda, MENRO Eugene Bondos, MASSO Salena Tristan Yu-Napoles, Engr. Marlo Sotto, MLGOO Glenn Amon and SB Members: Hon. Kent Jefflord Kent Cabalona Guillermo and Hon. Ketchie Rex Barrantes. Also present are Atty. Jude Lisandro Lora and Executive Assistant to the Municipal Mayor Nataneille Chavez.
