The Local Government Unit of Alangalang, headed by Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro joined the nationwide observance of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary during its traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony, earlier at the Municipal Terrace.

Anchored on this year’s theme, “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan,” the celebration highlights the vital role of government employees in delivering responsive, ethical, and people-centered public service.

As part of the observance, department and section heads, together with LGU employees, participated in the Lingkod Bayani Commitment Wall, where they expressed and affirmed their personal commitment to puso sa serbisyo, dangal sa tungkulin, at galing sa paglilingkod.

The Commitment Wall, a nationwide initiative of the Civil Service Commission, serves as a collective pledge among public servants to uphold service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement in government service.
