𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: The Local Government Unit of Alangalang conducted a Re-Orientation on the Functionality of the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC), yesterday at Covered Court, Alangalang I Central School, aimed at strengthening the capacity of barangay officials and appointees in fulfilling their roles and responsibilities in promoting and protecting the rights and welfare of children.
The activity was spearheaded by LCPC Focal Person Mr. Lizer Peralta, RSW and Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) Glenn Amon, who provided guidance on the proper implementation, documentation, and functionality of the BCPC at the barangay level.
Barangay officials and appointees actively participated in the discussion, reinforcing the LGU’s continuing commitment to ensuring that every barangay has a functional and responsive child protection mechanism.
