PAGSIDUNGOG 2025

12 December, 2025
We honor and recognize you for all your sacrifices and efforts just to ensure that you can make a difference in the lives of our children.” said Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro during the Pasidungog 2025 in conjuction with the Municipal Teacher’s Day Celebration x Christmas Party 2025 last December 9, 2025 at the Alangalang Lingganay Festival Park. Pasidungog 2025 shone a spotlight on exceptional educators whose dedication, innovation, and service have significantly shaped the learning landscape of Alangalang. Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro, in her message, emphasized her unwavering commitment to uplifting the education sector. She reaffirmed the LGU’s continued support through the sustained provision of Locally Funded Teachers and the strategic allocation of the Special Education Fund, which have become vital pillars in improving the delivery of quality education in Alangalang. One of the evening’s highlights was Mayor Yu-Castro’s proud announcement of the institutionalization of the Libreng Pananghalian Program, a visionary initiative aimed at combatting malnutrition among learners by ensuring that every child has access to nutritious meals in school and also shared updates on the ongoing construction of the Community College of Alangalang, which is set to open its doors by the next school year. Capping her announcements with a strong demonstration of the LGU’s tangible support to the education sector, Mayor Yu-Castro proudly unveiled her “biggest flex” of the night – the purchase of a brand-new LGU Mini Bus. This acquisition will not only enhance mobility for official functions but will also serve as crucial transportation support for students competing in out-of-town academic, cultural, and athletic events. “Ha iyo ngatanan, hinaot unta nga magkaurosa kita, bisan ano kakuri ngan kakapoy, I know that you are there to be of service to our children.
