Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro represented the Municipality of Alangalang during the Philippine Energy Transition Dialogue 2025 held on December 3 in Quezon City, where LGUs from Eastern Visayas united for a #JustEnergyTransition.

Mayor Yu joined fellow local leaders in the ceremonial signing of the Declaration of Commitment—affirming Alangalang’s support for clean, reliable, and sustainable energy development. The activity, organized in partnership with the Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities (ICSC), highlighted the vital role of LGUs in shaping an inclusive and resilient renewable energy future.
