Capacity Development Training at the Executive Room of the Office of the Mayor

To strengthen civil society participation in local governance, the DILG Alangalang Office, in partnership with LGU Alangalang, conducted a Capacity Development Training at the Executive Room of the Office of the Mayor. for CSO representatives to the Local Development Council, Local Health Board, and Local School Board. The training aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of their roles and responsibilities in local special bodies and to improve their contribution to local planning, budgeting, and decision-making processes. Municipal Mayor Lovell Anne M. Yu-Castro expressed her full support for initiatives that promote active and accountable CSO engagement, emphasizing the importance of strong collaboration between the LGU and civil society for effective governance.
