Our very own Municipal Mayor, Hon. Lovell Anne Yu-Castro, represented Alangalang as a panel reactor at the End-of-Project Sharing Workshop for the AQUADAPT PhilCam project, organized by the International Institute of Rural Reconstruction (IIRR) in Silang, Cavite.

Mayor Lovell shared crucial insights on local governance, policy implications, and continuous support for nature-based climate solutions that empower small-scale farmers and fishers across our municipality.

Adding to the pride of Alangalang, Mr. Marvin Mandalones from Barangay Langit joined as a farmer representative during the panel discussion. He highlighted the local success and best practices of SorJan Farming (Sinking-and-Raised Bed farming system), showcasing how innovative, sustainable agriculture transforms community livelihoods.
