LINGGANAY RESORT AND ADVENTURE PARK – The municipality marked a historic milestone yesterday with the soft-opening of its very first resort and adventure park—the Lingganay Resort and Adventure Park, in Brgy. San Isidro, Alangalang, Leyte. The momentous event was graced by Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro who proudly led the ribbon-cutting ceremony, symbolizing not just the opening of the establishment, but also the beginning of a new chapter in Alangalang’s tourism. Mayor Yu-Castro commended Ms. Faye Colas-Gayo, the owner, for her vision and investment, noting how the said resort is expected to boost local tourism, create jobs, and foster community pride. Also present were Colas Group of Companies Officers, Colas family and friends, Resort Manager Ms. Quimberly Peralta, ANHS Student Performers, Senior Administrative Officer, Atty. Renato Padayao, PMAJ Proven Troy Castro, NEDA Assistant Regional Director, Atty. Jam Colas-Villaber, Punong Barangay Hon. Merlita Miralles together with Brgy. San Isidro Officials, SB Members: Hon. Ketchie Rex Barrantes; and Hon. Kent Jefflord Guillermo, and Rev. Fr. Dennis Inocando. Ms. Colas-Gayo said that entire property spans more or less six hectares, with about one hectare already operational and showcasing different amenities and also hinted that more exciting features and facilities await.
