JUST IN: Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro has issued Executive Order No. 2026-0015, Series of 2026, declaring the suspension of classes at ALL LEVELS in BOTH PUBLIC and PRIVATE SCHOOLS in the Municipality of Alangalang, Leyte from 1:00 P.M. on February 5, 2026 (Thursday) until February 6, 2026 (Friday) due to the possible effects of Tropical Storm “BASYANG.” This suspension is issued to ensure the safety and protection of the public against the possible effects brought about by heavy rainfall.
