Some Department Heads & technical employees of LGU Alangalang successfully completed the 4-day Basic and Advanced Geographic Information System (GIS) Training, marking a significant step toward strengthening the municipality’s data-driven planning and development initiatives.

The training, spearheaded by the Ms. Rose Angeli Medrina, Mr. Larce David Ibañez, and Mr. Ben Oriondo of Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Regional Office 8, equipped participants with essential skills in spatial data collection, mapping, analysis, and visualization which are vital for improving local planning, disaster risk reduction, environmental management, and public service delivery.
