On July 26, 2024, during the National Disability Rights Week Celebration, 118 PWDs were provided free medical services, and 18 selected indigent PWDs were given assistive devices at the Municipal Covered Court in Alangalang, Leyte.

Present at the activity were Mayor Lovell Anne Yu-Castro, the RHU team headed by Dr. Blesilda A. Aniceto, MSWDO Marilyn A. Superada and her staff, SPED teachers from Alangalang I Central School, and PWD participants from 54 barangays along with their respective PWD Presidents.
