Meeting of the Governing Board of the Community College of Alangalang

LOOK: The first meeting of the Governing Board of the Community College of Alangalang (CCA) was successfully convened yesterday at the Office of the Municipal Mayor, marking a meaningful milestone in the municipality’s commitment to accessible and quality higher education. Present during the meeting were the CHED Regional Director Dr. Maximo Aljibe, CESO II and staff, Abuyog Community College President Dr. Clemelle Montallana, Business Sector representative Mr. Jann Vincent Tan, and Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro – all esteemed members of the Governing Board whose leadership and collaboration are vital to the success of CCA. Key agenda items included the review of initial institutional documents and a productive discussion on compliance requirements for the opening of two academic programs, paving the way for the college’s official operations. This milestone reflects the strong partnership between the LGU, CHED, and other stakeholders in shaping a brighter educational future for the youth of Alangalang.
