Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro Suspends Classes and LGU Work for 2026 Alangalang Town Fiesta

Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro has issued Executive Order No. 2026-0033, suspending classes at all levels in both public and private schools, as well as work in all offices of the Local Government Unit of Alangalang on June 18–19, 2026, in line with the celebration of the 2026 Alangalang Town Fiesta. The next two days are expected to draw a significant influx of residents, visitors, guests, and devotees from neighboring localities which will result in increased vehicular and pedestrian traffic, congestion along major roads, and limited availability of transportation services within the municipality. This is to ensure public safety and convenience, allowing residents to fully participate in the religious and cultural activities, and support the orderly and successful conduct of the Alangalang Town Fiesta.
