MAYOR LOVELY YU-CASTRO REPRESENTS ALANGALANG AT REVAMP 2026 REGIONAL POLICY DIALOGUE

Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro personally represented the Municipality of Alangalang during the REVAMP 2026: Regional Consultative Dialogue and Policy Review Workshop on Local Government Code Amendments held on June 24, 2026, spearheaded by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region VIII. The activity gathered local chief executives, policymakers, and key stakeholders across Eastern Visayas to discuss proposed reforms aimed at modernizing the Local Government Code of 1991 and addressing the evolving needs of local governance. Through meaningful dialogue and the presentation of regional survey findings, participants contributed policy recommendations that will form part of the national effort to strengthen local autonomy, improve service delivery, and promote inclusive and sustainable development.
