Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro personally handed over an incentive to Liza Mae Enabore, the lone student-athlete from Alangalang who represented Eastern Visayas in the Weightlifting – Women’s Division during the Palarong Pambansa 2026 in Agusan Del Sur.

A proud daughter from Brgy. Tabangohay and currently a student-athlete of the Leyte Sports Academy, Enabore’s achievement reflects the determination, discipline, and talent of young Alangalanganons.
Meanwhile, incentives for the winners of the EVRAA 2026 are still being processed. Once available, these will likewise be extended as a token of the Municipality’s recognition and appreciation for their hard work and accomplishments.
The LGU Alangalang continues to support and recognize local athletes who bring pride to the municipality and carry the Alangalang name to the regional and national sporting stage.
