Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro led the traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony yesterday at the Municipal Terrace, LGU Grounds, joined by the members of the Sangguniang Bayan headed by Municipal Vice Mayor Mario Bague, department heads, and LGU personnel, and representatives from different National Government Agencies.

During the program, Mayor Yu-Castro administered the oath of office to the newly appointed and promoted LGU employees, marking another milestone in strengthening the Alangalang’s public service workforce. The ceremony also honored the LGU Alangalang’s recently retired employees through the awarding of Certificates of Appreciation and retirement incentives in recognition of their years of dedicated and faithful service to the local government unit. Mayor Yu-Castro also officially introduced the new Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, FINSP. Gerardo Gabon, of the Alangalang Municipal Fire Station, welcoming the officer and expressing a continued commitment to a strong partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection. Continuing the commitment to excellence in public service, the LGU Alangalang recognizes both the dedication of the retiring employees and the contributions of those who will carry forward the responsibility of serving the people of Alangalang.
