Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro Joins Strategic Meeting for FARM Program Implementation in Leyte

Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro, accompanied by her Executive Assistant Mr. Nataneille Chavez, recently participated in a strategic meeting at the NEDA Regional Office in Palo, Leyte, to advance the Farmers Assistance for Recovery and Modernization (FARM) Program. The session highlighted the formation of a dedicated Technical Working Group (TWG) and outlined the process for identifying key members from each municipality.

Key topics of discussion included the development of a transparent and accurate beneficiary selection process, with a focus on ensuring that rightful recipients receive the program’s agricultural recovery and modernization support. Stakeholders emphasized the need for comprehensive beneficiary validation to avoid duplication and exclusion errors while promoting equity in resource distribution.
