IN PHOTOS | LTO Region VIII Brings Accelerated Plate Distribution to Alangalang, Leyte LTO Region VIII successfully conducted its Accelerated Plate Distribution in Alangalang, Leyte on July 24, 2025, held at the Lingganay Fun Park Covered Court, starting at 9:00 AM. In line with the directive of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and under the leadership of DOTr Secretary Vince Dizon, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Regional Office VIII, with the strong support of Acting Assistant Secretary Atty. Greg G. Pua, Jr., continues to uphold its commitment to delivering efficient, accessible, and people-oriented public service throughout Eastern Visayas. This initiative was made possible through the leadership of Regional Director Atty. Ledwino R. Macariola, Assistant Regional Director Eden Josefina M. Quebec, and Chief Administrative Officer (CADOF) Marc Bonne A. Rojas. On the ground to ensure seamless operations were: CADOF Marc Bonne A. Rojas, Administrative Division Emmanuel Jake I. Mina, DOLE-GIP Intern LTO Region VIII extends its heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Lovell Ann M. Yu-Castro, Municipal Mayor of Lovely Alangalang, and Hon. Kent C. Guillermo, Municipal Councilor, for their unwavering support and active involvement in making this initiative a success. Special recognition is also given to Mr. Alejandro Alve, Head of the Alangalang Traffic Enforcement Management Office (ATEMO), for catering and facilitating the event, including overseeing site preparation, logistics, and coordination. Thanks to the strong collaboration between LTO Region VIII and the Local Government Unit of Alangalang, a total of 202 license plates were successfully distributed to vehicle owners—fulfilling the government’s promise of responsive and efficient public service.
