LOOK: The Local Government Unit of Alangalang welcomed the delegation from Alangalang National High School

during a courtesy call to Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro in preparation for the upcoming Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC). A total of 11 student journalists have qualified to compete in Online Publishing (Filipino and English – Group Category) and News Writing (Filipino – Individual Category) at the RSPC to be held in Southern Leyte from January 19 to 23, 2026. “Congratulations in advance. Win or lose, daog na kamo knowing that you have reached the regional level.” Mayor Yu-Castro expressed her heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the delegation as they represent the municipality at the regional level. Joining the student journalists during the courtesy call were their coaches, Mr. Neil Edward Navarrete and Ms. Jazreel Hope T.
