Local School Board Convenes to Strengthen Educational Programs in Alangalang

Among the significant matters tackled were the strengthening of school security measures, intensifying efforts to increase the re-enrollment of Out-of-School Youth (OSY) through the support of the Liga ng mga Barangay – Alangalang Chapter, preparations for the upcoming Municipal Sports Meet, promotion of Alangalang Night High School to Out-of-School Teenagers (OST) and working individuals, and the conduct of the Municipal Federation Meeting of School Parent-Teacher Associations, among other important concerns.

During the meeting, Mr. Denver Quemado also presented the documentary requirements of the Local School Board in preparation for the upcoming Regional Local Governance Champions Assessment, ensuring the Alangalang’s readiness for the evaluation.

The Local School Board likewise informs the public of additional educational opportunities available in Alangalang. Alangalang National High School has officially opened its Special Program in Foreign Language (French), while Alangalang Agro-Industrial School continues to offer the Alternative Learning System (ALS) Senior High School with specializations in Agriculture and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), providing more accessible and relevant learning pathways for the community.
