Launch of QGAS Mobile Application Highlights Digital Innovation in Leyte Province

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: The launching of the QGAS Mobile Application was successfully held during the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) – Leyte Chapter meeting at the LGU Palo Hall last Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

QGAS is a real-time monitoring system designed to provide the public with updated fuel price information from gasoline stations across the province. Through a centralized dashboard, data from participating gas stations are collected, monitored, and made accessible to users via the mobile application. This initiative aims to promote price transparency, help consumers make informed decisions, and strengthen monitoring of fuel prices in the province.

The launching was attended by different local chief executives and municipal representatives from the different municipalities of Leyte, showcasing strong support for digital transformation initiatives that benefit the public and enhance government
