KALINGA PARA KAY LOLO’T LOLA

Last Tuesday was a heartwarming day for Mayor Lovely, together with SB Member Lyda Yu (Committee Chair on Senior Citizens), OSCA Head Corazon Ramos, and the LGU team as they visited some of Alangalang’s oldest and most treasured elders. They personally met with three Alangalanganons aged 99 years old and handed ₱25,000 each from the LGU fund. They also reached out to five more elders aged 95, who received ₱10,000 each. Beyond the financial assistance, the team shared meaningful moments – holding their hands, hearing their stories, and seeing their beautiful smiles. The group also extended a little monetary help and distributed toiletries, biscuits, milk, and diapers to several bedridden nanays and tatays, hoping to bring comfort and remind them that their community remembers and loves them dearly.
