History unfolded in Alangalang as the Local Government Unit of Alangalang successfully conducted the first-ever Public Forum and Panel Interview for the College Administrator of the soon-to-open Community College of Alangalang (CCA), marking a significant milestone in Alangalang’s pursuit of accessible and quality higher education.

The historic activity was led by CHED Regional Director Dr. Maximo Aljibe together with the members of the Search Committee for the President (SCP), where applicants Dr. Maria Jehan Libre, Dr. Arnie Cadiente, Dr. Ronald Madera, and Dr. Erwin Oscar Ripalda underwent a comprehensive selection process through the Public Forum at the Municipal Covered Court, followed by the Panel Interview at the Executive Room of the Office of the Municipal Mayor. Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro welcomed this landmark achievement with great pride, describing it as another defining moment in municipality’s history.
