HIGHLIGHTS: To strengthen participatory governance and ensure broader stakeholder representation, the Local Government Unit has reconstituted its Local Special Bodies (LSBs) to formally include the newly accredited Civil Society Organization (CSO) President in their membership.

Conducted last October 23, 2025, at the ABC Hall, the said initiative supports the principles of transparency, accountability, and community involvement in local planning and decision-making processes. The inclusion of the CSO President enables more diverse perspectives and community-driven initiatives within bodies such as the Local Development Council, Local Health Board, Local School Board, and other mandated councils.
