The Municipality of Alangalang has been personally chosen by the Governor

The Municipality of Alangalang has been personally chosen by the Governor as one of the pilot municipalities for the implementation of the Quick Medical Electronic Records (QMER) Referral System. This province-led initiative aims to strengthen and streamline the referral process between municipalities and hospitals within the region. By improving triaging and patient management, the system seeks to empower Rural Health Units (RHUs) to provide better primary care, thereby decongesting hospitals and allowing them to focus on severe and critically ill patients. The meeting highlighted the objectives of the project and identified Mudboron and Cavite as the pilot barangays. To ensure smooth implementation, the province will provide all necessary training and hardware support. The orientation is scheduled on August 27 and 29, covering both RHU staff and Barangay Health Workers. The rollout of the QMER Referral System will commence immediately after the orientation and training sessions.
