HALLOWEEN 2025 at Lingganay Resort & Adventure Park! Barangays of Alangalang, prepare your most creative and spookiest displays featuring Philippine Mythical Creatures! Registration: September 14–20, 2025 No Registration Fee Contest Mechanics Eligibility • Open to all barangays of Alangalang, Leyte. • Each barangay may send only one (1) official entry, which must be endorsed by the Barangay Captain. In case of multiple submissions from the same barangay, only the entry with official endorsement from the Barangay Captain will be accepted. • Each barangay must feature at least one primary mythical creature in their display that is not duplicated by another barangay’s entry. • First-come, first-served basis will apply. • Once a barangay officially registers and secures a creature theme, other barangays may no longer choose the same main creature. Registration • Participants are required to register between September 14 and 20, 2025, and submit a short written concept of their entry. Theme & Concept • Barangays must create a Halloween display featuring Philippine mythical creatures, including but not limited to: aswang, manananggal, kapre, tikbalang, mangkukulam, nuno sa punso, bakunawa, sigbin, tiktik, tiyanak, white lady, duwende, engkanto, and sirena. They may also explore other lesser-known beings from Filipino folklore. • Displays must highlight creativity, originality, and cultural relevance. Venue & Setup • All displays will be set up at the Picnic Area of Lingganay Resort & Adventure Park. • Barangays must complete their displays on or before October 1, 2025. • Entries must be sturdy and able to withstand weather conditions (rain or shine). Other Rules • Displays must be safe, family-friendly, and culturally respectful. • Use of eco-friendly/recycled materials is highly encouraged. • The organizers reserve the right to disqualify entries that do not follow the guidelines. PRIZES • 1ST PLACE: ₱8,000.00 cash prize, certificate, and gift voucher (Free One (1) Day Pass to pool and farm tour for 15 persons and use of one (1) standard cottage) • 2ND PLACE: ₱5,000.00 cash prize, certificate, and gift voucher (Free One (1) Day Pass to pool and farm tour for 10 persons and use of one (1) standard cottage) • 3RD PLACE: ₱3,000.00 cash prize, certificate, and gift voucher (free farm tour for 10 persons) • Consolation Prizes: Certificate and 20% Discount on Lingganay Entrance Fee for 10 persons • Special Awards: Certificate and free use of one (1) umbrella cottage for 5 persons CLICK LINK FOR MORE: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/17NCsHDVKx/
