ICYMI: Boosting associations’ capacity to generate income, ensure food security, and contribute to community development, the Department of Labor and Employment in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Alangalang formally turned over chicken egg layer projects amounting to ₱249,960.00 each to two farmers’ groups in the municipality—Torium Farmers Association, Inc. and Brgy. Tombo Integrated Farmers Association. This initiative, carried out through Integrated Livelihood Program under the Livelihood Opportunities for Rural Entrepreneurs (LOREN), aims to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities and strengthen rural enterprise development.
