Alangalang’s Town Fiesta 2025 Shines with Unity, Culture, and Community Spirit

Alangalanganons and guests Gather for Days of Celebration The Municipality of Alangalang successfully concluded the Lingganay Festival 2025, a two-week celebration that united residents and guests in vibrant cultural events, public service initiatives, and festive community gatherings. Among the standout highlights were a Medical Mission and Bloodletting Activity that served individuals with free consultations and voluntary blood donations, and a tree planting initiative in Brgy. Salvacion, where volunteers participated in promoting a greener Alangalang. Nightly events brought the town to life, with Barangay officials showcasing their hidden talents in the well-loved “Barangay Officials Got Talent” during NGA Night. The pageantry of the Little Mr. & Miss Alangalang and Miss Alangalang 2025 displayed both charm and advocacy, while Youth and Academe Nights provided platforms for rising talents in music, dance, and the arts. Mayor Lovell Anne M. Yu-Castro praised the overwhelming community involvement, stating, “The Lingganay Festival is a celebration of who we are—resilient, joyful, and united.” The festival culminated on June 18 with a star-studded Vesper Night concert, leaving the town in high spirits and full of gratitude.
