ALANGALANG NEW PUBLIC MARKET

In preparation for the commencement of operations of the newly constructed Alangalang Public Market, a meeting between the Market Committee, headed by Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro, and some displaced market stall owners was held last June 3, 2026, at Executive Room, Office of the Municipal Mayor. The discussion focused on matters concerning stall allocation, occupancy guidelines, market policies, and other important concerns related to the opening and management of the public market. The said meeting also provided an avenue for stall owners to raise questions, clarify issues, and express their concerns regarding the operation of the facility. Furthermore, the meeting proceeded smoothly and resulted in a mutual agreement among the parties regarding the assignment of market stalls. “Damo nga salamat ha iyo ngatanan. Nalilipay ako nga maupay an naging resulta hini nga aton paghiruhimangraw kay amo ini it tumong kun kay ano nagkatitirok kita yana, it mag-urugop ngan ugopan it pag-uswag pa hit aton bungto.”said Mayor Yu-Castro expressing her gratitude to the market stall owners.
Mayor Yu-Castro promised that the new public market will open its door the soonest time.
