Alangalang LGU Offers Free Late Civil Registration for Birth, Marriage, and Death in February

In celebration of the 35th Civil Registration Month, Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro issued Executive Order No. 25-003, granting free civil registration services throughout February for residents of the Municipality of Alangalang, Leyte.

The initiative aims to benefit Alangalanganons who are late registrants for birth, marriage, and death records, easing the financial burden of processing essential documents.

The Municipal Civil Registry Office, led by Ms. Nelisa Catindoy, OIC-Municipal Civil Registrar, will facilitate the free services. Residents are encouraged to take full advantage of this opportunity to update and formalize their vital civil records without the usual registration fees.

Proper civil registration is crucial in establishing legal identity, securing access to government services, and protecting individual rights.
