ALANGALANG COMPLETES RENEWABLE ENERGY ROADMAP SCOPING WORKSHOP

The LGU of Alangalang successfully culminated its four-day Renewable Energy Roadmap Scoping Workshop last June 22-25, 2026 in Summit Hotel, Tacloban City, where elected officials, department & section heads, and key employees revisited and refined Alangalang’s renewable energy vision, identified key opportunities and challenges, and aligned strategies for a sustainable energy transition. The workshop strengthened local efforts to integrate renewable energy into policies, plans, and investment priorities, while outlining concrete next steps for the formulation of municipality’s Renewable Energy Roadmap. This initiative, led by ICSC and AktivAsia Pilipinas under the #LocalizingEnergyTransition program, is supported by Tara Climate Foundation and forms part of the CASE Project implemented by GIZ through the International Climate Initiative (IKI). #LGUAlangalangLeyte
