Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro Leads Flag Raising Ceremony and Receives 2026 Philippine Association of Local Government Accountants Excellence Award for LGU Alangalang

Mayor Lovely led the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony highlighted by the formal conferment of the 2026 PHALGA Excellence Award from the Philippine Association of Local Government Accountants to the LGU Alangalang. The award recognizes LGU Alangalang as a recipient of the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) for CY 2024, honoring the municipality’s outstanding transparency, accountability, and excellence in public service, as well as its unwavering commitment to good governance and the welfare of its constituents. Carrying the inspiring message to “Lead with Integrity, Grow in Service, and Excel in Governance,” the recognition reflects the collective dedication of the local government workforce in delivering quality public service. The recognition was presented by Municipal Accountant Ma’am Arnelia Cariñaga, who personally received the award during the Association’s National Convention held in Dapitan City, and officially turned over the same to Mayor Lovely during the ceremony. The program also included the reporting and office updates delivered by OIC Budget Officer Jhanela B.
