“I’ll be needing your strong support and continued help in health promotion and disease prevention dinhi ha Alangalang.” said Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro during the courtesy call paid by the deployed DOH Nurses and Midwives to the municipality. Under the DOH’s National Health Workforce Support System (NHWSS), 6 Nurses and 4 Midwives were deployed to the Alangalang Rural Health Unit for 2026 to support the delivery of essential healthcare services and strengthen public health programs in Alangalang. Present during the event were Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Blesilda Aniceto, together with Doctor to the Barrio Dr. Michelle Gallao.
