IN PHOTOS: Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU)–Carigara Campus’ new Director, Dr. Renato Martija, paid a courtesy call to Mayor Lovely Yu-Castro yesterday at the Office of the Municipal Mayor to foster stronger collaboration with LGU Alangalang. Mayor Yu-Castro warmly welcomed Dr. Martija together with some faculty and staff and expressed her full support and commitment to empower the youth and community through meaningful cooperation and partnership. Center of the discussion was the LGU’s openness to support research initiatives and community extension activities of the said university. They also explored opportunities for the deployment of EVSU Information Technology students at the LGU as their host agency for On-the-Job Training (OJT).
