2025 Regional Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Champions Assessment I The Municipality of Alangalang welcomed the Regional Assessment Team (RAT) last Tuesday for the 2025 Regional Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Champions Assessment. The said team was composed of Cluster Heads Mauricio Labado, Jr. & Estela Creer; DRR Focal Person Myles Joseph Colasito, LGOO V;Anna Celeste A. Alaon, LGOO V; John Paul Negros, LGOO II; and PDMU Engr. Megan Abigail P. Pido who led the assessment focusing on the ten governance areas under the SGLG framework, namely: Financial Administration and Sustainability; Disaster Preparedness; Social Protection and Sensitivity; Health Compliance and Responsiveness; Sustainable Education; Business-Friendliness and Competitiveness; Safety, Peace and Order; Environmental Management; Tourism, Heritage Development, Culture and The Arts; and Youth Development. Through this rigorous evaluation, LGU Alangalang showcased its strong commitment to transparency, accountability, and excellence in public service. The RAT highlighted Alangalang’s continuing efforts to strengthen programs and initiatives that uplift the welfare of Alangalanganons, foster sustainable development, and uphold the principles of good governance.
