129th Rizal Day Commemoration

The Department of Education Alangalang District II, in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Alangalang, led the 129th Rizal Day Commemoration earlier to honor the life and works of national hero Dr. José Rizal The activity highlighted Rizal’s enduring contributions to the country and his role in awakening Filipino nationalism through his writings and ideals. A wreath-laying ceremony was held at Rizal’s Monument as a symbol of respect and remembrance for his sacrifices for the nation.
